Embarrassingly, it has been about 5 years since I had seen a dentist. My teeth were in decent shape but I was beyond due for a cleaning. I had some bad experiences before that left me less than thrilled with the thought of going to the dentist. But I knew it was time so after researching reviews, I decided to try this place out and I was pleasantly surprised. The hygienist that did my cleaning was so gentle yet thorough. She talked me through everything she was doing and why. All those little spots of build up are gone and everyone was super sweet to me. 10/10 recommend this place!
I had my teeth cleaned and had fillings done. Dr. Shah’s crew do their best to make sure you are comfortable.
Cary Smiles Family & Cosmetic Dentistry is the best dentist I have been to! My oral health was something I was not proud of. They are very understanding and helpful, they did a wonderful job and I cannot recommend them enough!

Let me begin by prefacing the absolute terror and angst I generally feel regarding dental visits. But Cary Smiles took away my self achievement… It was easy to enjoy my visit. They were kind, gentle, conversational, polite, funny; they talked me through everything: any discomfort; the procedure they’d recommend, they allowed a very open space for me to report any problems, they didn’t even scoff when I admitted to not scheduling myself a dentist visit for over 5 years!
First time to Cary Smiles. I had a cracked molar and was in pain. They accommodated my request for an appointment and gave me the earliest possible slot. Dr. Shah spent enough time with me asking the right questions and quickly came up with the plan of action. He himself put a temporary crown on my molar and at the time of writing this review, I enjoyed my dinner without any pain. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Thanks to Cary Smiles, I found a new place for all my dental needs.
This office is fantastic! It’s like a little family. The hygienist remembers me from previous times and asks how things are going. They genuinely care! I have been going there for over 10 years. I have had numerous dental issues over the last couple months but Dr. Shah has been amazing!! If you need a recommendation, I highly recommend this office!!!
Closest thing to a painless dentist! Great at working with your insurance, and friendly and accommodating and their hygienist is extremely kind and professional. If I could give 6 stars I would!

I have been searching for a dental office to fit my needs, and this certainly is the one! The whole atmosphere is friendly and comforting. The doctor was very thorough while explaining, and the hygienist did a great job at walking me through everything.
I’ve been a patient at Cary Smiles for over 15 years and seen it passed amongst 3 doctors over the years. The receptionist is always welcoming and helpful and the dental hygienist always remembers me and does a thorough cleaning. When I arrived to my last appointment it was immediately clear to me that Dr. Shah is investing a lot in modernizing the office, not only cosmetically but with updated devices, fixed a machine that has been broken for a while, and the practice has a new patient portal software. When I met with Dr. Shah I expressed mild concern about a possible cavity that the old doctor said to keep and eye on. He listened to my concerns, asked additional questions, reviewed the new X-rays and did multiple tests to see if he could prompt sensitivity I had described. Ultimately he made a note to continue to watch that tooth but also advised me on proactive steps I could take to make sure I did everything in my power to keep that tooth healthy. He made me feel listened to and his advise for proactive steps eased my concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Shah and his team.

I had a filling for a small cavity. Doctor Shah was amazingly precise when he numbed the area. In the past if I would find that half my face would be numb for 1 tooth. I only felt numb on the tooth without any residual numbing of other parts of my mouth or face. I didn’t even know that was possible. He’s a master!
I really enjoyed my experience here! All my interactions with team members from scheduling to Dr. Shah were fantastic. I left feeling really confident about the dental care I received!
